Project: Female OC/Self-Insert (Commission)
For this graphic design commission, I was asked to reinterpret the client’s original character as a reflection of themselves. As a transgender/genderfluid individual, the client wanted the artwork to embody the femininity they identify with and aspire to express. My focus was on honouring that vision while maintaining the essence of their OC.
Through softer shapes, expressive details, and a more feminine visual tone, I aimed to create a design that felt both authentic to the character and affirming to the client’s sense of self. The final piece blends personal identity with creative reinterpretation, highlighting how character design can become a meaningful space for self-representation and gender expression.
